Y2. Human Computer Interaction – A Cooperative & Heuristic Evaluation Report

Part 1

Heuristic Evaluation.

You will have to select a system of your choice: a website, a software package (not too big!), a public system, a mobile interface (e.g. an iPhone App), an appliance, and write a report that documents your inspection of an interactive system and your opinions about its usability based on a number of guidelines. You will use Nielsen’s Heuristics and the method of Heuristic Evaluation for your 1st assignment.

Part 2

For the 2nd part of the project you will use the “Cooperative Evaluation Method” to evaluate an interactive artefact.
You will document the evaluation, analyse the findings and suggest re-design recommendations.
